Peace when nothing makes sense - Proverbs 3:5.

'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding'

Proverbs 3:5

We don't need to worry about not understanding.

We can trust God with everything and have peace,

knowing his is powerfully working everything

for our good.

God loves to reveal himself to us by the power of his holy spirit through his word the bible. But God doesn't choose to reveal everything at once to us. And there are some things that he will never reveal to us.

We want to passionately desire to understand God's word but we don't need to worry when it doesn't seem to make sense. We don't need to worry when we can't understand why God would want us to suffer the way we are. We can hold on to God's promises. He is good, he loves us, he has promised to work all things for our good. We can trust in the lord and lean not on our own understanding.

Father God, help us to trust our lives to you, the good and hard times. Help our faith in you to guide, strengthen and lift us up. Let us not forget you and seek to live by our own strength. Keep us rejoicing in you and your promises rather than our own limited understanding.
