Glory in weakness - 2 Corinthians 12:9.

Peaceful photo of flowers on a bible

'But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.' - 2 Corinthians 12:9

God uses our weakness

To display His glory

Don't let your weakness hinder

The peace you have from God.

The cross was one of the greatest signs of weakness that existed at the time and God used that as the main way to show his power and glory. It's similar with our weak and fragile lives.

When God does amazing things for and through us, our weakness highlights how powerful God must be.

God has rescued us from our evil ways, giving us a certain hope of eternal life and is now using us to work out his big plan to gather a holy people for himself. What power he displays to be able to have done and be doing that considering how weak we often are.

Father God we praise you that our weakness doesn't hinder your plans. Our lack for strength doesn't have to bring shame on you.

Lord let our weakness and failing show even more clearly that it is through your mercy that we have been saved, through your grace that we have eternal life, and through your power, not our strength, that you use us to work out your purposes to display your glory.

Keep us from seeing our weakness as something that separates us from you. Prevent our weakness from taking away the peace we have in you. Lead it to create a deeper peace in us, knowing our weakness helps display your glory.

Amen

P.S. - Thank you so much for reading this, I hope it helps you find peace in God.

Love and prayers,

Joshua
