Christ died for sinners - Romans 5:8.

'God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.' - Romans 5:8
God loved us so much He sent His Son to die for us, while we were still rebelling against Him.
Because He loves us, we want to live for Him. But our desires to live for God can often lead us to spiral into worry and overthinking when we do mess up.
God's love for us doesn't depend on our lack of sin.
We can be at peace knowing that the God of the universe loves us even though we mess up day after day.
Yes, we should mourn our sin. And sin is serious; we should make every effort to fight against our sinful desires.
But when we are made aware of our sin, we don't need to worry that we are now too evil for God. We can ask God for forgiveness, seek to live for God more and more, and then be confident that through Christ, we have been forgiven and we will be in the new creation with God forever, a place where sin and death are no more.
Father God, help us to take our sin seriously and to passionately fight it. But let our failings not cause us to doubt your love for us. Give us peace knowing you sent your Son to die for us while we were still sinners. And you will one day enable us to fully reflect your glory.
Amen
P.S. - Thank you for reading this, I hope it helps you find peace in God.
