God hears us - 1 John 5:14.

And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. - 1 John 5:14

The all-powerful, all-loving God

who promised to look after us

hears our prayers.

Therefore, we can have peace.

Father God, we praise you that you are not far from us. You hear our prayers, our cries, and our joy. You know us and love us individually.

How incredible is it that every time we speak to you, no matter where we are or what we say, we can know you hear us. As your children trusting in your son, we are able to share with you anything and everything.

Lord, it is so comforting to know that the good path you lay before us takes into account our thoughts and feelings.

We can be confident that the future you have chosen for us is what will be best for us because you are perfect and loving, and because you listen to our prayers and know us better than we know ourselves.

Father, let us be at peace knowing you hear our prayers and have a good plan for our day, our week, and our lives.
