An end to sadness - Revelation 21:4.

'He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.'

Revelation 21:4

We will have perfect peace in the new creation.

An end to sadness.

Oh God, how glorious is your name! You truly are victorious. What a hope we have in you. Through your grace and your grace alone, we can know our future will be free from all sadness. For you will end all our mourning, crying, and pain. You will put an end to our sadness.

We will rejoice in a peace never to be shaken by a broken heart. Never to be rocked by waves of sadness. Our peace shall be perfect for you will have put an end to all our sadness, for all eternity.

Father God, we rejoice in you. Though our life now will be full of crying, mourning, and pain, you have given us a sure hope in the new creation of an eternal life free of all sadness.

Help our weak and sinful hearts to see ever more clearly the perfect peace we have in you. Let that future peace keep our minds steady when trials come, great or small.

Secure our peace in the work you have done. In the hope of eternal life where we will know no sadness.
