God is our strength - Psalm 59:17.

'You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.' - Psalm 59:17
It is possible to pursue peace because
God is our strength.
Gracious Father, holy Lord of all the earth, we worship you. Your power and strength are like no other. There is none like you. God, you can part the seas, bring down fire, and raise the dead.
There are so many things that seem to pull us away from the peace we can have in you. But Lord, you are stronger than the hold they have over us. You can defeat any army and calm any storm.
Though Father, time and time again you show us that your good plan for us includes our facing many storms and struggles.
But you have not left us on our own. You have given us your word. The gift of new life with you and the promise of a New creation.
Lord, through your promises, we can have a peace more powerful than any storm.
But Father, so often our minds seem weak. Remembering your promises seems impossible, let alone trusting in them enough to bring us peace in our struggles.
However, we know, merciful Father, that you have not left us to struggle alone with our faith and weak minds.
God is our strength.
God will strengthen our minds to find peace in His promises.
He doesn't promise to transform us immediately. He doesn't promise it will be easy.
But He does promise never to leave us or forsake us. And that He is powerfully working for our good. And that He longs for us to trust in His word and have peace in Him.
It is possible to pursue peace because
God is our strength.
Amen
P.S - To anyone reading this, don't give up. God has given us great hope. Cling onto Him.
Love and prayers,
Joshua
