Reflections on peace - p13

God is faithful - Hebrews 10:23.

'Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.'

God is faithful

He will keep His promises

Wonderful Lord you are trustworthy and true. You have shown us time and time again that you are a faithful God.

It's is because of the promises you have given us that we can have peace. Help us not to doubt your faithfulness.

Father help us to more fully cling to your promises.

You have forgiven all our sins.

You will never leave us.

You are working all things for our good.

You will bring us into a new creation, where we will rejoice in a perfect relationship with you in a perfect new creation.

You are faithful and will keep your promises.

Therefore we can have peace, knowing what you say is true.

Lord so much of my lack of peace is due to forgetting your promises or doubting they are real.

Forgive me father for my lack of faith and transform my weak mind to delight in your faithfulness.

We can find peace in your promises.

You are a faithful God.

Amen.
